INTRODUCING NBGEN NUERA T14

​Our focus has always been pretty simple: help producers breed cattle that grow well, convert feed efficiently and hang up a carcase that gets paid for.​ Our NuEra T14 bulls take that thinking a step further. They've been selected using a large body of feed intake and performance data collected over more than 20 years by ABS - the world's largest bovine genetics company. That data helps identify cattle that do more with what they’re given, turning feed into saleable kilograms faster, with few inputs and more predictable carcases.

Working with ABS has allowed us to make this genetic line available here in Australia. The NuEra T14 bulls we’re offering are purpose-bred terminal sires, selected specifically for commercial performance.

WHAT IS NUERA T14?

NuEra T14 is a data-driven Angus terminal line developed by ABS in the USA, designed to maximise growth, feed efficiency and carcase value.

Unlike traditional selection, NuEra bulls are chosen using millions of data points from feed intake, growth, fertility and carcase outcomes, not just pedigree or visual appraisal.

NuEra T14 bulls are designed as terminal sires, to produce calves that grow faster, finish earlier and hit specs more consistently.

HOW TO USE NUERA T14 BULLS

  • Use NuEra T14 bulls over Angus, Brangus, Brahman-cross or composite cows.

  • Keep replacement females from your maternal herd.

  • Use NuEra where profit is made - in the sale pen and on the grid.

 

NuEra genetics were developed as a terminal line, with the sole aim of improving bottom-line results for producers. They’re best used over a sound, fertile cow herd where all progeny are marketed. The result is calves that grow, finish and meet market specs, while letting your maternal base stay exactly that - maternal.

NB Genetics announced the birth of Australia’s first NuEra T14 calves, demonstrating the line’s commercial deployment outside North America. These calves were born unassisted and displayed strong growth trajectory, feed efficiency, and carcass quality, positioning NuEra T14 as a premium terminal genetics option for commercial herds.

These bulls have been run under the same commercial conditions as our Angus sale bulls.
